Minor Midget 1996

The Colts made the Quinte/Kingston road trip, winning one and losing the other. The boys couldn’t make up for an early two goal lead, losing 5-3 to Quinte. Drake Board and Max Healy each had a goal and an assist. Chaykowsky chipped in with a goal from the point. Dakota Hynes added an assist.

After two losses, Barrie evened the season series with Kingston, winning 5-4. This time it was the Colts that jumped out to a two goal lead and never looked back. Gillham and James Mense-Dietrich scored early and both added another goal later in the game. Mense-Dietrich made it a three point night adding an assist. Austin Fischer and Cray Roberge played well gathering two assists each, Hughes, Young and Chaykowsky also chipped in with helpers. Healy rounded out the scoring. Ian Andriano got the hard fought road win, helping to kill off 6 of 8 power plays.
